Well I wasn't going to post anymore on here. There didn't seem to be much point in arguing about whether we had too high expectations, or if we just got unlucky (twice), or if we're the problem with a bad attitude. Internet arguments like that never end well.

All that I can take with a pinch of salt but one thing I detest above all is being accused of lying. What I have described (accurately) did happen on those flights whether you want to believe it or not.

We are at a point in our lives where we probably have about 10 years left of flying before we can't be bothered with the hassle of long haul holidays and have made the decision to not risk any of our hard earned during that time on sub-par service. We stayed away for 6 years previously, 10 shouldn't be too hard to achieve.
