I am not sure I understand the consequences of this. Would it mean that FB is not anymore interesting for Canadians when speaking of redemptions? I'm FB gold, not sure that status matters though, and every award flight from YUL to GOA, just as an example, is suddenly the same amount of miles from now on (i.e. 300 000 miles two days ago).
