I'm bored and more less thinking out loud here but it seems with the new law stating resort fees must be disclosed upfront there MAY be a loop hole for those who will be losing CET Diamond 2/1/2025.

If you book today ( while Diamond) your receipt won't show any resort fees due, even if you drop below Diamond before your stay you MAY be able to argue that the pricing wasn't up front and get the fees waived.

Below is a general statement of the new law and my receipt showing no resort fees owed for my upcoming October 2025 stay.

If you will be losing Diamond 2/1/2025 and know the dates you want to stay in 2025 I figure it's worth a shot to book now.

If you do try this make sure to print the full detailed receipt that you get when you book that shows the exact price per day and all taxes and fees, my screenshot is the email CET sent and doesn't have all the details the receipt I printed does.
