Long-haul crews on BA - your experiences…

Generally speaking, long-haul crews are BA tend to be very good, offering a great level of attention, energy and service. However from time to time you get a whole crew that seems de-energized somehow.

For example, I recently had a flight with the following issues:
(and I won’t identify flight / date / sector etc)

- Talking to the crew felt a bit flat, there was little
enthusiasm or energy in conversations. Very little time spent in engaging the customer, only focusing on getting the job done.

- Not delivering the full service - leaving out the snacks with the PBD until asked in First, not asking about the cheese plate, not bringing the sides in the main course, not coming back for top ups of bread, drinks etc

- Talking negatively about their schedule or experiences in the job, in earshot of customers

- Not allowing F off the plane before CW

- No personal greetings

what causes this. Is it just due to having a busy service? Are there “bad crews” that travel together and share negative behaviors, or do the members of the crews change frequently? Have you also experienced this variability?
