This is a really well run hotel. We had a three night stay and were upgraded to an awesome suite with a huge patio. For a welcome amenity we were give a fruit plate and a bottle of wine. Breakfast was as good as anything you'd expect in Bangkok or Dubai.

Aesthetically the resort was beautiful. It felt better than a Marriott. Service was excellent across the board. My only complaint was that the pool was a little cold, but oddly when I visited (Nov 2024) it was rather cool for Sri Lanka. I don't think temps ever got much above 25.

I took an Uber to and from the airport. It came in just under 20K LKR each way. The drivers always seem willing to stop at the highway rest area that falls about half way. While it's a long ride from the airport, this resort really feels like an oasis in Sri Lanka. I can't imagine anybody not enjoying their stay here.
