Unfortunately, this trip is just to get to the cruise ship before it sails from Monte Carlo, and I wouldn't want to cope with returning the rental car and then having to get a taxi to the ship.
I admit I am terrified of driving that route, but have been a passenger many times, and agree the views from the upper and lower Corniche are spectacular.
