ianmanka / moondog (I'm asking here rather than directly because I need to stick the asnwer into HKQSG FB) - is West Kowloon still mentioned anywhere in Timatic?

EF Timatic has been out of action since the seat maps fiasco. KL and UA Travel Docs show a very abridged verison of TWOV requirements. IATA Travel Web shows what ianmanka clunked. Honestly I think West Kowloon is a valid exit point but how to convince a LAX/SFO contracted check-in agent for CA/MU of this?!

Idiot me. It says right on the NIA announcement itself https://www.nia.gov.cn/n897453/c1688948/content.html - "Guangdong Province (Exits available at all open ports across the province)"

Since this "all open ports" is not included in Timatic, I still book a cancellable onward connection from PRC, but that is for the overseas check in desk (which I am going to assume are not going to upload that information to the NIA) to complete their checks but definitely not for use.

(I'm still not sure where ukdragon 's arrive PEK, leave in GD for HK ends up though. Obviously if ukdragon arrives in Guangdong, leaving from GD to HK is OK).
