2025 FA contract negotiations [see other thread for practical info on re-booking etc]

MODERATOR NOTE: as of August 15, a new thread has been created for practical information for those travelling in the next few days and wanting to find out about cancellations, re-booking options, etc. If you need that type of information, please visit that thread. This thread will now focus on updates on the negotiations, philosophical debate about what FAs deserve and government involvement, and so on.

I've seen lots of commercials lately about f/a's and "unpaid" work.

The Canada Line to/from YVR has a double car painted with this issue.

Looks like this may turn into some sort of battle between senior/junior pairings.
Hopefully the union understands, fixing the unpaid work issue will mean lower pay for the paid work.

The union is putting a lot of $$$ behind this issue.
Didn't seem to be as much of an issue with the pilots.
