Hugolover has recommended advance order meals on LOT previously.
On my last trip, I gave two of them a chance. Polish meal, which came recommended, and seasonal meal, which I was interested in.
The ordering process was very easy on the LOT website. Select what you like, pay 14 odd euros, that's it. Pleasant experience.

Preorder meals were not mentioned in a hot minute, and since I just added one to my upcoming LO flight I thought I'd mention the changes - the mainline mains are now 16.10 EUR instead of ~14. There is also a lot more options to go for, starting at sandwiches for 4.40, and for some of the options you can preorder a variant with a drink (orange juice) as well. I'll report how the breakfast was in about a week.
