Still, 4x points on travel for the Altitude Connect card is very attractive, while it doesn't require opening additional accounts and commiting to a high balance to acheive 4x reward. Speaking of attractive - I confess I find the US Bank cards to be asthetically very pleasing. I am NOT one to be seduced by packaging, but whatever design firm created those cards deserves an award.
And the Altitude Connect card has a small, additional benefit: four annual Priority Pass visits per year. AFAIK, the US Bank Priority Pass benefits still include Priority Pass
restaurants; so even if you have Priority Pass
lounge benefits from another credit card, the four restaurant visits might be of some value to you. Priority Pass restaurants can be found at a number of U.S. airports, including DFW (Terminal E), JFK (Terminal 8), ATL (Concourse B), and IAD (Concourse C).
