This kind of thing is annoying and misleading to the general public. They do the same thing with 9X (Southern Airways Express) where purchasing directly from the partner on their stock earns zero miles.

I get not crediting in situations where, say, you have a partner flight on third party stock (like UA 016 or DL 006) but if the ticket is on 027 or the partner's own stock... it should count.
