But I cannot find the actual letter in my Chase account anywhere (neither under Checking nor an existing Chase credit card account) and also nothing arrives via postal mail.
I called Chase, they also told me that the actual letter should be in the mail.
How do I get access to the letter? I'm right now residing in Europe (but have U.S. mailing address), just trying to find a solution without having to go to a U.S. branch.
When you open the app, look for the “Statements and Documents” tab at the very top, next to “See Bill Activity” tab. On the next page click “Notices and Letters.”
I just went through this. I was declined for “suspicious” activity. I had been in Europe for three weeks. When I got home, I applied for a new card, shortly after I received an increase in limit for my other Chase cards.
I called in to their fraud department and, after about 20 minutes, everything was good. Got my new card two days later.
