BA writes on its webpage about Aer Lingus:

“Gold Members will get an extra 23kg bag when traveling in any cabin on Aer Lingus-operated flights”

Does this also apply to the Saver fare (Europe route)? Has anyone ever actively tried/used this?

I want to book a flight from DUS to DUB - and a free 23kg bag would be very useful in the Saver fare (BA gold) ...
