Japanese LCC - hand baggage checks?
Hello All,

how strictly do Japanese LCCs check the weight of hand baggage? I am specifically interested in intra-Japan flights on AirAsia and on Peach.

If I appear at the airport with a cabin trolley that weighs 10kg instead of the allowed 7kg:
  • How likely am I to get caught?
  • What are the consequences/cost of getting caught?
