Furthermore, IB flies MAD-DFW 4/7. And the timing during the winter schedule is poor if originating from LIS.You either got a 4h layover in MAD or a 1h layover. 1h is gonna go wrong a ton of the time, because the feeder is operated by Air Nostrum, and it is one hell of a distance from the arrival gate to the departure gate (of course, there's the people mover which is slow because of the long elevator/escalator rides, too, and passport control at MAD which is erratic).
Overall, I don't like the idea of choosing IB for this trip. Not at all!
Thank you would you suggest connecting in the U.S and just doing customs and security during the first connection or doing LHR and going through security there and transferring terminals.
