Essentially looking to land in and return from any of LAX, LAS, PHX, AUS, DFW or IAD from essentially any location in Europe between June 25th and August 8th. I came across this fare on google flights; DUB-LHR-LAS / LAS-ORD-DUB for £1380. Its available across a range of dates albeit with some dates going up to £1500 ish.

I think the LAS - ORD leg in the return isn't over 2000nm and therefore doesnt qualify for 140 TP, thus I believe this would give ( 40 + 140 + 40 + 140 ) * 2 = 720 TP when combined with a 5 night hotel stay which I'll need anyway. However, I am wondering if this can be optimised for more TPs whilst maintaining roughly the same price. Is it possible to add a stop in LAX, PHX, BOS, IAD, PHL or BWI on either leg to increase TPs? I mention these locations as this is primarily a trip to play poker and all of these locations have large casinos in the vicinity, which opens up some stop over or lay over options.
If I can get something like ( 40 + 140 + 140 ) * 2 * 2 = 1280 TPs for < £1700 (excl hotel cost) then I'll pay cash for the fare. Otherwise, I do have a 2-4-1 voucher and Avios that I can use to book a more direct route. Lastly, whilst Club Suite looks good, I absolutely do not want to pay extra to spend time in that awful 2 - 3 - 2 CW configuration. I'd rather just get an extra legroom seat in Economy than pay business class fares for that.
Hi
BA holidays for double TPs need to start from U.K. not Dublin I’m afraid.
And yes ORD is not good. You need to be looking at East coast destinations such as PHL, EWR, JFK, BOS for example. And you can have two transits in the US I think, so another West Coast one is often the choice.
Your current route is 360 TPs. The norm is 40 from DUB then 140 to the East Coast and another 140 to the West. Possibility of another 40 if you fancy it which gives you 360 and the same on return, so 720. Plus positioning flights.
Sometimes routing back to Spain from LHR makes it cheaper - MAD, BCN or AGP are popular choices.
If you post the exact (rough) dates then people on here can tweak it for you?
