Everyone should know it changed to Scottsdale Fashion Square Resort in 1984. That's at least what the ad claims.

Later it joined Days Inn. I believe it was demolished around 2005-2007 to make way for new shops and parking spaces. I plan to go into much more detail about the origins of the Doubletree brand, but I will post it in this thread: DoubleTree Brand(ing) - FlyerTalk Forums - and it might take another two months.
