Keep in mind the night flight from SIN-SYD is the 2 class 747-400 from Frankfurt, so it's usually less full up the front, but the seats aren't as desirable to snag either (AFAIK they haven't started upgrading the 2 class planes to Skybeds yet anyway - anyone else heard differently?).
