MAN-LHR-DOH-BKK can be had for just over £3k incl 5 nights. All BA flight numbers bringing it to 1,280 TPs. Just wish we had an extension so could book for end of the year.
That's a good fare, and the all-in cost is reasonable. The fare has been around before, and I've never really jumped on it, but when you consider the trip as a whole, it makes sense.
While I can normally find JER-USA (the long way) for around £2,600 (1720-2000 TPs), the hotel costs for the standard I enjoy, can bump the overall trip cost to closer to £4,000 - considerably more than the £3k I think I could find in BKK.
