I didn't like the Umeda view but I was aiming to get excellent photos, it's fine if you want to see the view.
Umeda Sky Building – There was a rooftop viewing platform but it was circular on top of a square building and even the edges weren’t at the side of the building. Then the indoor viewing area below didn’t have all four sides with floor-to-ceiling glass to see the city from. It was like they designed a normal office building then decided last minute to turn the top floor and roof into a tourist attraction. Still got decent photos.
On my next trip did Osaka – Abeno Harukas Observation Deck and thought it was better even though no outdoor area, felt like there was more to see.
