Cannot agree with you anymore. We stayed at the Ren multiple times but hardly ever used the lounge in the evening. It was SO PACKED that can be described in Chinese, "can't stick an needle in" type of packed crowd. On an attempt to use it the lounge attendant was so apologetic he scrambled to find a single high top chair for me to squeeze in. I thanked his effort but told him we would leave - there were so many eateries nearby especially some small local ones while the environment was not desired yet the foods were excellent whether for snacking or a real meal. Of course being former locals we knew our ways very well. Ren's harbour view is overrated in my opinion.

The view is ALWAYS a lot better looking from Kowloon side to the Hong Kong side with the Victoria Peak at the backdrop, not the other way round.

Though since the Exhibition Center metro station opened for business, it is much easier to access Metro versus in the past you need to make the outdoor (still under cover) long walk bridge to Wanchai station. No need for that now.
