I spoke with an Alaska rep. She put me on hold for almost 10 minutes and came back with an answer - she said I would earn 125% EQM on the ticket but I couldn't understand the logic of how she came up with that figure. I pointed her to the website where it showed the earn rates changing for 2025 and that confused her, as she didn't seem to know this was happening. I'm going to cancel the flight and hope AS adds some clarity to the earn rules once we hit 2025. The ticket was only cost effective if it paid out at 225% or 250% EQM earn rate.
