Any insight into what drives this pricing model? I get it, it's a pretty nice hotel, but 2x as nice as its competitors?
Like others have mentioned corporate rates go a long way, I know the big 4 consultant firms have discounts at MO/4S (I have to make do with Golden Circle) and they get very popular around peak travel season. To answer your question though the MO is not 2x as nice as its closest competitors. Had you asked me 10 years ago I probably would have said it was the prime lodging option in the city, today that has gotten a lot more contentious.
