I'd just rent a car. A drive along the local road hugging the Med (and going through lots of surprise pedestrian crossing areas) is quite advisable. It takes about 45-50 minutes that way. The A-2 (or whatever number was the highway) gets you there in 30 minutes or so but is not nearly as scenic.

Hired cars (and touts) will take you there.
