The same issue happened with me at Sheraton Dubai Creek.
I had to manually re-add the reservation to my app before my stay.
So this is an existing issue. Wonder how others would have caught it.
At least you could pull up the reservation, that meant the reservation did exist in the system, just somehow "detached" from your account.. In my case Marriott site returned an error when I tried to pull up the reservation. All 4 showed the same error. At the end the phone rep found the reservations then "attached" back to my account. How can a reservation go astray after you have checked everything is in order?! This is very disturbing.
