The breakfast place (Shula's) no longer exists.
As a globalist, the free breakfast was a buffet but worse than what you would find at HP or HH.
Stale food and limited options. They had an egg station where the "chef" cooks your made-to-order eggs, but the lady was extremely rude.
In fact, she was without a doubt the rudest person I met in 2024 by a large margin.
The waiters were fantastic and FDA was great as well.
Room was old, in need of renovations. The whole hotel seemed dead with very few guests.
Welcome to FT!

Yes it was always a tired property at least my first visit in 2008 and has never improved. Never saw a suite upgrade even as a Diamond nor was I even recognized as a repeat guest despite dozens of stays. Shula's was always a decent (if slow) breakfast option so it's a shame that is gone. They are feasting off proximity to IOC and oil service offices but there are better options elsewhere.
