70-minute A3-CA layover at GVA + interline
I have been informed of a schedule change on Aegean next week, meaning a very tight connection of 70 minutes for a connecting CA flight to SGN via PEK. Aegean phone agent said no interlining luggage, but chat agent said absolutely no problem and they can check me in on the CA PNR too.
For business travel I never take hold luggage, so leaving it behind for this leisure trip wouldn't be a huge inconvenience. The problem is the 70 minute connection - CA online check-in can be fickle, and desk closes 60 minutes before departure. So I really need A3 to give me that boarding pass (and ideally check a suitcase through).
Does anyone have recent experience? Any tips to help a check-in agent that doesn't understand procedure? I am leaving from a small island, which doesn't help.
