I've just done a brief analysis, comparing the weekly frequencies of BA routes in S25 vs S19. Some interesting, albeit not surprising, results, which show the decline of business routes:
- LHR-DUS - Weekly flights down 47% (36 to 19)
- LHR-BRU - Weekly flights down 43% (37 to 21)
- LHR-FRA - Weekly flights down 43% (40 to 23)
- LHR-ARN - Weekly flights down 34% (38 to 25)
On FRA, as well as frequency reduction of 43%, capacity reduction must be even greater. Mid 2000's BA flew widebodies (at least on Monday mornings / Thursday & Friday returns.) Overall capacity must be down 75% on that route?
