It may come as a surprise, but there is currently no requirement for BA flight crew to eat different meals inflight (although different flight crew meals may be loaded by the caterers). A risk assessment was carried out and it was concluded that the risk of food poisoning was so low that the requirement was unnecessary. However, in practise different meals are loaded and served.
What can happen, on shorthaul at least, is that a left over Club meal may be offered to one or both pilots, and it may be the same as one of the flight crew meals loaded - so both pilots in effect end up eating the same meal.
