Impact on AC if/when ITA Airways Joins A++ JV

With the news of the ITA-LH merger closing in the beginning of January, I was wondering how this would affect the JV that AC has with LH and UA on TATL flights. If my understanding is correct, ITA will join to become part of A++, and AC will most definitely codeshare with ITA on TATL flights.

Right now, ITA flies to YYZ from FCO in the summer season. Will this be continued, will be increased/decreased in frequency? I think there's more demand from Canada to Italy as point-of-sale, so AC might be most suited to these flights. Googling a random Thursday next June (as an example), there's 4 daily nonstop flights YYZ-FCO (1 air transat, 2 ac, and 1 ita), so maybe it makes sense to keep both AC and ITA as the demand is there.

Also, where do you think this new partnership will lead in terms of expanding flights between Italy and Canada? Maybe this partnership will lead to ITA flights to YUL or YVR?

Not sure if there's any chance ITA starts TATL flights from non-FCO airports in Italy. I've seen a lot of US carriers and even AC operating flights to other Italian cities (MXP, VCE, PMO, etc) so maybe there's a chance?

Lastly, I was wondering how pricing will work? Will an AC flight YYZ-FCO cost the same as an ITA flight? Because I think ITA's offering on the a330-900s is probably better than AC's old 330s.

Thanks! PS this is my first new thread posting, so please let me know if I'm not doing something wrong. I tried looking for A++ threads briefly but couldn't really find anything so yea.
