Wow. Although the A35X and 777-9 would seem to overlap a bit, yet another carrier is getting both (BA, AI, CX, EY, QR, ET, KE, LH). The only 777X customers that have A359 but not A35X are SQ and EK, and only NH does not have A350s.

Also kinda surprising that of the three Taiwanese carriers, all have A350-1000s on order but only CI has ordered the 777-9. At launch JX had 777 renderings and BR is a large 777 customer.

Anyhow I wonder about the innovative cabin designs CI will bring to these new planes…
