I have an issue with the Novotel in Breda in The Netherlands. This hotel is owned by Event Hotels. As I was getting close to Diamond I checked some of my recent stays and noticed that I never received points for FB spends. I’m quite upset about this as I missed Diamond last year by 700 points. When they would have included FB spends, I would easily have made it.

I’m now for weeks in discussion with the hotel and it seems that they have no rights to give reward and status points on FB. I find this very strange. I make my booking via the ALL app with normal rates.

I start to think that it has more to do with Event Hotels, as I see the same with other Accor hotels they operate in The Netherlands.

Does anyone else have the same experience?
