This is pretty odd. I can't speak for NUE-AMS from experience, but just recently I redeemed points via my wife and dad's Plat accounts for them on the BRE-AMS route. These flights are in March and operated by German Airways. Given that these are wet leases, surely it makes no sense to block redemption based on that?

VPN does not change anything. And I am based in Germany with a German IP.
