I've stayed at this property half a dozen times in the past 5 weeks. Tend to get upgraded (As HH gold) to a larger room with a sofa and that. There was something very wrong with the TV system at the end of last year, but it's slowly getting better - reception works on all the channels now, but the paytv stuff appears to have disappeared. No great loss. The hotel is terribly convenient for the northern line.
Downsides - many of the staff aren't especially fluent in English. The bathrooms are generally small and pokey, and in need of an overhaul. Rooms lack proper double glazing (noise and cold leak in). The wireless net access (from
www.iyzone.net) is fiendishly expensive, and coverage is flakey at best.
