As for the meal
- gate upgrade right at boarding time, so no pre-order
- excellent service, FA's present throughout for refills and anything else. Much appreciated, though I didn't ever need anything. Great service attitude in general.
- salad - continue to love the "LEMON" dressing!
- chicken pizziola - my goodness this thing is beyond mediocre. Just a piece of chicken breast with no flavour, and a really small dash of tasteless red sauce with a couple of stands of shredded packaged cheese on top. The polenta was fine with some salt and pepper, and the broccolini was actually very good. Enjoyed that one part. But never again on this meal.
- bread - had a couple of bites because it was a new looking roll. One day I'll figure out where UA sources their bread. It's bizarre.
- banana pudding - have to confess, I said never again, and then I ate a few spoons of it because I was still a bit peckish. It really is quite mediocre.
Didn't realize SFO - DEN is a hot meal eligible flight, as it only comes in around 860 miles. I
I was wrong. it is around 950 miles.
