I was talking to someone at airport management about it (not UA, but CLT) a year or so ago, and they said something akin to "The obvious type lounge you would expect to operate above a certain airline's gate area has been discussed and we continue to discuss, but we are also looking into lounge opportunities that would be open to a broader range of flyers."
To me the "obvious type of lounge above a certain airline's gate area" was code for UC.
I imagine CLT would have to be insourced (at least above the wing) to get a UC?
If it wasn't a UC I would guess it would be an Escape Lounge.
