My son was recently told he had to pay for his checked bag because the ticket was purchased using wallet funds even though the original form of payment was an Alaska credit card.

Anyone know if that's the rule or if check in agents aren't able to see (or aren't easily able to tell) if the Alaska card was originally used?

This was the first time we've had this happen so I'm wondering if it was possibly just a mistake on the agent's part.
