AFAIK Tapestry Collection is an Upgrade from the lowly Hampton eg no more free breakfast (for now I think its free as they havent set up the restaurant to handle it yet) Theres a resort fee now $15 will probably go up. They probably repainted everything and might have changed the furniture, but its an old building so rooms are still very small, basically in this case its like putting a tux on a pig and saying its now a an awarding winning dog or whatever. Or how when a Hilton didnt want to make a lounge they became a DT which dont need to have a lounge. Yet if you took away the new DT signage youd never know its now a DT and no longer a Hilton. In this case rates went way up as did the amount of pts for a free night
