was through on sunday evening. BA departs from terminal C but as it was the last flight they only open security/desks at terminal 1 which meant a long trek back to terminal c (had exited train near C and schlepped to A for security/check in.

first, as noted, security is horrendously slow--everything there is so over engineered to the point of defeating any efficiency. more than 30mins to get through and there were only 30-40ppl ahead of us and there were two lanes open.

then by the time we made it to the lounge, its very depressing and dark, but it is right next to the gate and had sufficient nibbles to satisfy when very hungry, so no-not missing much at all!
