It’s been a relatively typical year of flying for me, I keep working on reducing my travel.

Noteworthy memories:
  • My first-ever visa-free entry into China via an ICN-SHE flight was an interesting experience. Both departing and arriving caused some confusion, which took a bit longer than usual.
  • Due to the Finnair strike, I had to take Ryanair. I booked an emergency exit seat, but I got bumped to a terrible seat — return light at emergency exit was at par with Finnair experience.
  • Got an operational upgrade on Finnair, but was travelling with my kids so couldn't take it.
  • High speed trains in China compared to Flying.
I do enjoy the Platinum Corner , but during rush hour, it’s amazing to see just how many platinum members are there.

Renewed plat twice this year, in the old and new tracking period.

Distance: 82 257 km
Countries: 9
Longest: HKG - HEL
