Sorry for a slight diversion, but if CE were Group 2 (as I believe it should be) then all of the passengers travelling with a GCH would be Group 1 and it would be a genuine benefit to GCHs even when the whole group is in CE.
As it is, the benefit is only worthwhile if you are travelling LH CW/WTP/WT or SH ET.
