Am I right that the Qoya has an outdoor pool, Hilton indoor? Qoya seems more central. Hilton has a lounge? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated from people that stayed at either (or both)!
This year I have stayed twice at the Qoya. In both occasions it was for one night.
First time I booked the rate was marginally cheaper than the Hilton and I wanted to try it. In my 2nd stay it was also cheaper and I was meeting friends that live nearby.
Few comments:
- very much boutique hotel feeling
- the basic entry king rooms are nice/well design but not big
- not generous with upgrades for HH elites but I was travelling alone and it was for only one night so did not even bother to ask at check in
- swimming pool on the roof is OK but, IMHO, not a place to spend many hours. Also it can be quite windy
- small gym
- breakfast is superb. Buffet is not large but products are of good quality, and a menu of hot items to choose from(included for HHD).
My last stay at the Hilton Morumbi was back in 2022, two nights stay
- booked basic entry room with points and was upgraded to a renovated junior suite overlooking the bridge
- nice lounge with a very large selection, both for breakfast(including eggs cooked to order) and happy hour
- did not visit the swimming pool
- gym was good but crowded when I was there
