My husband has an English passport and when we arrived in Shenzhen- China from Dubai he was told that he couldnt leave the airport as he didn’t have a visa. He was only wanting to go outside for a few hours but was refused. Myself and 2 children have irish passports so we were told we were ok.

My question is- he flies into Beijing Daxing on 3rd Jan and then he takes a taxi at around 1am from Daxing to Beijing International airport. The gap between flights os approximately 8 hours The first flight is with Air Asia- the 2nd flight is Turkmenistan airlines to Tukmenistan/ then another flight to London- Is he allowed to do this as he has booked these flights and we are worried he will be refused when we arrive- myself and 3 children have irish passports so were allowed to leave if we wanted to- but might be different as these are different airports- any advice gladly appreciated
