I had forgotten all about this, but actually got some use out of it back in the day. Boingo’s finest hour was when I was in Kansas City to view a solar eclipse (several years ago, not the one recently). The hotel was jammed with people there for the same reason I was, and everyone wanted to log onto the internet for updates the night before the eclipse. The hotel wifi was overloaded , and I could not log on. i checked on Boingo, and there was a wifi provider (I suspect the same one the hotel used). I selected it, and logged onto instantly, with a reasonable d/l speed! Well done Boingo, and may you now RIP!
