Kinda depends specifically on what terminals are involved. MOST UX flights use Terminal B but some use A. I have actually departed out of D on UX once.

Mainline UA should go out of C or E. They are both very large terminals and walking distances can be great.

From B, you’ll want to follow signs to the Sky Train. It’s a tram between the terminals that keeps you sterile, security wise. Do not exit the airside in Terminal B.

the Sky Train stops at Concourse C near low number gates. If you’re outbound is Terminal E, take the Skytrain to the D/E stop and follow signs to your gate.
even if you are in FC it can still take you five minutes to get off your inbound. And remember that the boarding door on your outbound closes ten minutes before push back. That really gives you only about 35 minutes to connect. The trains run every four minutes or so and it will take you about four minutes to get to Terminal C. A couple more minutes to get to E.

The app gives good walking directions.

Again, do not leave the secure airside at B.

Good luck! Let us know how things go.
