Looking at various TK J menus, I noticed they lack a "in between" section that other airlines tend to have on longhaul. Does it mean they're J service is limited to the first and second meal or do they normally have some unpublished snacks/sandwiches/whatever? I understand that their meals are quite filling but still, on a 14 hours long flight we're talking maybe 9-10 hours between the first and second service.
On another note, when do they normally load the digital menu on their website? I'm still getting an error message about menu only being available on longhaul even though my ticket does include a longhaul flight. I assume it's simply because I'm too early. Or is it because my first flight is shorthaul and their IT is stupid?
Occasionally, especially on morning flights where breakfast is served as the initial meal, they’ll give out these small snack menu cards, but as others have said, it’s nothing substantial like what’s offered by other carriers. It makes those am flights where breakfast is served first a bit more frustrating since one has to wait sometimes 10 hrs until a proper large meal is served with just snacks before.
And as for your 2nd question, I think I was able to access all the menus for my last lounghaul TK flights 14 days prior…but I have to be honest, finding the menus posted online happened kind of via chance so I’m not sure of an extact time or if there’s a TK IT error.
