I would also say that even the 2 week extension is hard work and uncertain, at least in my case. I have had 3 phone calls with silver line BAEC agents over 6 weeks. All 3 agents were helpful, agreed the 2 week extension exists, agreed with my calculation of 1500+ TPs (and more than 4 qualifying flights), and that I should be upped to gold. Three times I was told this would escalated to the back office for action within 10 days, but still nothing has actually happened - no change of status and no communication. Is the process just slower than the agents think, or is my case getting ignored, delayed, lost or rejected for some reason that they are not sharing?

Any suggestions please anyone? The usual advice for these kinds of cases is that phoning BAEC is better than email / web chat / raising complaints, but it's not working for me.
