I get that the service and stuff is better, and also the redeye has the benefit of a full day before departing and upon landing, but just curious how more regular SQ flyers think about F vs J on such routes
Whilst I can sleep well in J and am fortunate enough to get bulkhead most times, I still think F is worth it on SIN to Europe redeye routes. In my case, I tend to be awake for the first 5 hours to help with adjusting to European time, which gives me enough time to enjoy the F service and then sleep till about 90 mins out so I can enjoy a spot of pre-landing breakfast.

Bolded your last sentence as this is a key consideration if you don't fancy spending the extra money on F and don't value the extra F service (which I do).
