If you just want somewhere to nap, the in-terminal Skylight is a good deal for just 6 hours and you can eat and work from the lounge on either side of that as well.
Ah hah, I thought $70 was the standard for 1 passenger (business class if it matters to them or not), and the higher price was 2 pax.

Very good pointer for the in-terminal hotel. I honestly didn't even look, assuming it would be pretty astronomical like the Oryx inside DOH. Even the 12 hour rate is quite palatable.

I'm giving some serious thought to whether this is worth it or not. It's $500 cheaper than EY via AUH which is not a small chunk of change on a flight I'm paying for myself. But the ET version also has a forced overnight in HKG which won't be cheap either. As much as the adventurous side of me wants to say, suck it up and do it... LOL... plus I haven't been to Lan Kwai Fong since pre-COVID...

Definitely appreciate the share of knowledge either way. Helps me make a more informed decision.

Yeah, you might also notice my post was replying to another poster earlier in the thread. So of course there is no context related to your GBE issue.
