Does anyone have experience matching a Marriott deal/package rate with a standard room rate on comparison site?

Marriott is only offerring a higher category room deal/package that includes breakfast and other amenities. The comparison site has a flexible standard room rate that includes breakfast.
I tried a dummy booking on the comparison site and booking went through fine.
